As Hyma has said, there's still work to be done, but at the moment, it's not that bad. Just get rid of the Olympic style now.

There should be a 1px gap between each topic row, at least that is how its been working in IE and Firefox. Where are you seeing this? Only on Opera / Opera mobile?
Yeah, on IE it displays fine, it's only Opera Mini on my phone that has the problem (and all the problems I mention here). There are no gaps between topics and because the gradient effects don't show on Mini, you just get a huge monocoloured orange box. Also no spacing between the page numbers show any more - so you see '123' instead of '1 2 3'.
The slowness thing seems to have sorted itself out now - probably just needed to wait for all the files to be re-cached but the issue of image files not loading properly still seems to remain, either they don't, or they appear minute in size.

I'm not sure support for mobile web browsers, such as Opera Mini, is really very important since such browsers have to rescale the page for a small screen anyway. I use Pocket Internet Explorer on my phone and it constantly misrenders pages, but as long as they're readable I don't complain.

You should try the Nokia N800 800px wide display, and its only a wee bit bigger than an iPod.

If you have such a high resolution on such a small display, doesn't that mean the text is tiny?

Suggestion for future troll repulsion
Could we make the moderator's 'warning' button, instead of issuing a formal template message, PM to the troll comments from a computerised HymaBot? Someone suggested using a computerised Ison before, so I'm sure it could be done

Thats a bit of a long term plan but I suppose its doable.
Apologies for the breakage earlier. Was caused by me forgetting to CHMOD a directory correctly. All fixed now, and in theory the forum should run faster too.

Just an odd one to put in the "when there's a spare moment" pile, down at the end of the queue.
On most other fora, the "Quote" button shows up when you're logged OUT, together with the "PleaseRespond" button.
It currently doesn't on here.
I tend to surf whilst logged out, then click when I want to respond, knowing I'll be taken via the log in screen.
If I want to respond here, including a quote, I currently have to log in separately, then go back to the thread and then do the quote.
It would be nice not to have to do that, but no rush, it's a "nice to have" rather than an "urgently needed".

I suppose the other option, Nick, would be to be constantly logged in, but always hidden, as you can set from your profile.

Call me an old fashioned Luddite (all together now!), but I never stay logged in to any application for any longer than is absolutely necessary.
It doesn't matter whether it's internet banking or a minor forum (not saying this place is minor!), I always like to log out again once I've done my business.
