This is no surprise to me today, given that there is an entire thread dedicated to my failings on TV Forum.
I'm clearly a very flawed character indeed; so perhaps it is time for me to step down.

I admire your ususally impeccable judgement and sense of humour, as well as the fact you don't suffer fools gladly.
Please let's not have a misunderstanding; I am a fan. Which is precisely why I was surprised by your actions.
