Did you have to call and ask direct, or is it possible to find out through the internet? I ask because according to this my exchange was due to convert back in June. However, I only got the speed upgrade (to 2Mb/sec!) last week.

Tesco broadband is basically an NTL reseller, I've been with them for ages, pretty good too. Although I'm now on the 1mb uncapped package.

Quick tip.

If you're calling BT, just keep keying 0, even when it says "Sorry you have keyed an invalid option".

You get an operator quite quickly.
