Believe me, Mr. Grindon, they dropped a long time ago.

By the way, the name represents what is actually being discussed in this thread as it is going nowhere at all.

J.Christie, you knew when you started this thread that a discussion of the nature which has been formed would be formed. So I ask this question. Why did you start this topic?

At times i don't like my Mum very much and i'm sure the feeling is mutual, but, it dosen't mean i don't love her. She is my bestest friend and always will be. My Dad died several years ago and my blokes Mum died a few weeks after my Dad. It was at this time the words " You don't know what you've got until it's gone!" had real meaning.

Yeah, who would want that?

Awww! Hymagumba isn't all bad Master Christie. I'd much rather have him as friend than an enemy.

As someone rather succinctly put it down the pub last night - you'd rather have him in the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in...

I disagree fundamentally, guys.

J.Christie is starting off in the way of many (but not all) TVF/MP247 greats.

People have taken a dislike to him, he fights back. Not too dissimilar to my baptism of fire at TVF.

For a 13 year old, he has shown the balls to stand by his actions and comments, even if we disagree with him. He PMed me earlier to tell me this whole leaving thing was a joke - I admire that type of stuff.

How many of us (especially the older ones who did not grow up with the Internet) could say we'd have been so resolute? Not me, for example, and you all know what type of guy I am by now.

Let talent grow. My honest opinion is that this guy might have something to say for himself. I had the same feeling about James Martin (for whom I also stood up) and was proven (mainly and probably) right.

Trust my judgement, MP247 friends.

I was 16 (1999) when I first got the Internet, and I caused havoc on the now defunct egroups.com. I joined the Philippa Forrester Fans group, and went about deleting all their prized photos of her in the gallery, and uploading softcore porn to it.

I remember that my PC was kept in my mums dining room at the time, and one day she walked in and saw a blonde with her tits out on screen. She wasn't very impressed. Then, a few days later she saw 'Hotmail', on screen and said "What's hotmail? It's not rude is it?".

I remember for the first six months of me using the net, I would write entire posts in CAPITAL LETTERS TO MAKE MY POSTS STAND OUT FROM THE REST, WHICH INEVITABLY PISSED A LOT OF THEM OFF.

Seems like years and years ago now, and it seems like I've been on TV Forum / Metropol for an eternity.

I wasn't as thick or mundane as JC is today - I was just reckless and set out to piss saddo people off!

Not much has changed, has it! ;)

Exactly, if he wants to course havoc he isn't doing a very good job of it. HYe's just tedious. Like somebody else round here who seems to have gone quite quiet of late.
