Why have they started talking crap in my lovely little Doctor Who thread?
Ronnie is victorious, vivacious in victory like a venomous dog. Vile Republicans cease living while the religious retort with rueful rhetoric. These rank thugs resort to violence and swear revenge.

But Ronnie can punch through steel so they lose anyway.

Well its going to be another RIP roaring day on TV Forum, following the death of Jack Sugden in Emmerdale.

There's already a bunch of them expressing their devastation - not for themselves, you understand - but for the grieving widow and children.

Looks like there's been an outbreak of deaths, as, over in the news room:
Veteran BBC foreign correspondent/reporter Charles Wheeler has died.

Looks like The Reaper's got a long weekend planned and he's trying to clear his desk!

It's this sort of thing which makes me wonder why TVF doesn't have a black or navy CSS to pull out in times of great mourning.

To only be worn just before anyone else knows of course.

In jrothwell news, he seems to be positioning himself as some sort of GenX Douglas Coupland type. He fails.

I see Asa has made a ruling about death threads. They're OK. Fair enough, nice to see bit of decisiveness.

There's reasons he gets the name "sadministrator", this is one. Nice of him to basically say "it's you guys who dislike these false mourning threads who are wrong, shut it" like that, helps.

Always targeting the symptoms never the illness that kid.

Yeah, but no-one quite knows what's OK there. Laying down the law at least clarifies it's appropriate in terms of the rules. Whether it's apalling, shallow and in pretty bad taste is just subjective (and the case!). Now if they could just decide what to announce about TV CONTENT discussion they'd be getting somewhere.

Thing is, it was that prat Jonathan who always got offended by their mere existance. It seemed more of us were bothered more about the fact lesser members filled them with "omg rip for his family a great loss he will be missed" crap rather than anything of mild interest.

The Emmerdale guy, interesting chat is how will they reflect this in the soap an how will storylines change, fair enough, I couldn't care less myself but I'm not bothered about it being there, its the idiots that troll them with RIP as if it makes them a better person to dianamourn over it all.
