Of course he's talking total cock, looks at a few pages on Apache and thinks he's pretty damn leet and really, he doesn't know all that much about computing.
Fucking prat, doubt he's ever actually used any flavour of *nix in his life.

The tedious fuckwittage going on in that thread is awful at the moment with the pre-emptive guessing at which parts of the scripts will involve the exact phrase "BBC News channel", what exactly is going on in the background behind Huw on that TINY image and the ever present annoying drone that is Brekkie Boy fertilising his (invariably negative) 'opinion' over a dozen posts.timgraham wrote:Isn't it nice though to leave some things up to the actual day? No point tuning in if you already know exactly what's happening, and having it lynched (it can feel like that at times) out of various insiders can be a little tedious to wade through.

I'm outraged with the change of name from News 24 to BBC News Channel, it's going to play havoc with Tumble Towers system. Back to the drawing board.
I think you'll find that when I contribute it's usually in a cynical condescending manner, like said recent post to itsRob and the other one to peterrocket congratulating for putting down the bizarre fantasy about the aqua colour scheme.StuartPlymouth wrote:That would be the same one you have contributed to 5 times so far this month.noelfirl wrote:The tedious fuckwittage going on in that thread is awful at the moment with the pre-emptive guessing at ...
Begs the question is there a point to my contributions? Probably not. 'But I've had my fun and that's all that matters.'

How wrong you are, Square Eyes. You assume some level of logic. The change is irrelevant.Square Eyes wrote:I'm outraged with the change of name from News 24 to BBC News Channel, it's going to play havoc with Tumble Towers system. Back to the drawing board.
No. You should get out more if that's your idea of fun.noelfirl wrote:Begs the question is there a point to my contributions? Probably not. 'But I've had my fun and that's all that matters.'

Maybe you ought to shut up and be grateful you're getting any of this information at all :roll:BBC wrote:But from next Wednesday, when Huw Edwards cross promotes from the Ten, it will be: ‘You can get more on this over on the BBC News Channel’. On air, News 24 will just become ‘BBC News’.
No, sorry Stu, I was referring to the quotation marks around the entire phrase, indicating that it was a quote, more specifically a quote from Father Ted where an obnoxious visiting priest to Craggy Island makes life hell for Ted and Dougal and then proceeds to use said quote. It was a joke, but clearly, seeing as I've had to explain it, and you probably still don't get it, not a very good one.StuartPlymouth wrote:noelfirl wrote:'But I've had my fun and that's all that matters.'Yes. That's what makes the statement so disturbing.noelfirl wrote:You can see the ' and ' cant you stu?
I was referring to some earlier posts from this page on, which had some posts that contained various guesses and (associated moans) about what script would be used for cross promoting, and which, as far as I can see, came before any official confirmation that the BBC News Channel moniker would be used only in cross-promotion.Chie wrote:'Guessing'?? I quote:noelfirl wrote:The tedious fuckwittage going on in that thread is awful at the moment with the pre-emptive guessing at which parts of the scripts will involve the exact phrase "BBC News channel", what exactly is going on in the background behind Huw on that TINY image ...
