The new card just arrived in the post. That's definitely speedy service from both Virgin Money and Royal Mail. Makes a nice change!
Was it Tracked 24 or 48? Post here is useless with a backlog of around two weeks unless you post parcels.

UK ATMs don't use the magnetic stripe and haven't for quite a while.
In fact, almost nowhere uses the magnetic stripe and they will begin being removed from cards altogether imminently:

Sure, proprietary cards can do whatever they want. They also won't work in ATMs tho.
