did there not become V shops? saying that there never lasted that long either.

Im also sure MVC got some of the store, but when down the tubes the store went to muisc choice who also went down the tubes then there brought by someone else Flopp, we did in fact flop

you think some one would have learned after the second time around

There weren't too many of those IIRC, there's still one in Manchester City Centre that's been shut for longer with it's signs up than it actually was open.

Music Zone was okay, they usually had rather busy shops, though as you say Fopp did bail them out and they went flopped pretty damn quickly. HMV bought Fopp about 18 months ago and they reopened so many stores, mainly in the big cities, the one in Manchester's usually quite busy whenever I visit.

Talking of adverts, I giggled at the Roy Walker/Churchill advert the other day, it was predictable, but I found it funny.

Though perhaps a post watershed version could rotate a few choice phrases such as "I need a bab", and "I've got a turtlehead in my undercrackers...mum".
