Anybody here want to complain about the word "Scot"? A shortened version of the word "Scottish". A description of someone's roots, where they come from, where they're probably proud of. Still nobody moaning? No, thought not.

The word "Paki" is short for "Pakistani". A description of someone's roots, where they come from, where they're probably proud of.

Over to you!
The difference is the context in which it is used.

Scot is not offensive because it is not used in an offensive way.

Paki is meant to be offensive and is usually used with the words fuc*ing and bastard., just before the poor sod has the crap beaten out of them for being a different colour.

that's why

I didn't realise you were attacking your own opinion.

Will you however apologise for being a mentalist and lying?

Apologies if it's already been mentioned but I can't be bothered to look back...

For some reason according to this site I should be voting for the Green party!

So, back to the election for a moment.

What do we think happens to the Tories and Howard then post May 5th, as its looking likely to be another defeat. I am guessing that they'll ditch the leader again, no matter the margin of loss.

Howard was always a caretaker, and he's too getting too old to hang around until the next election, but who else is there ?

Isn't John Major knighted today? Because of the death of Lord Callaghan there is a "vacancy". Order of the garter or something. Didn't know Edwina wore them. ;)

I imagine Olilver Letwin or more likely David Davis will become leader if Howard loses. As long as we don't get Fatty Soames (my ex-MP back in Mid Sussex) I don't mind!

Andrew Lansley is good, as is David Davis.

Well I've done the test, I want to vote Conservative, but it tells me that I should be voting Liberal Democrats or Green Party!

Luckily for Labour the result was '0'

The thing I'm wondering is, will the Sky News Interest Index ever go into +ve figures?

If not, why have it? It's like 'You've told us you're bored with the election, but we're still going to talk about it for at least half this bulletin'...

Oh.. I saw this on DeadBrain.co.uk

You do not know how to hold a civilised debate Mr. Hymagumba!
