Gosh, I wonder if Wembley is near Edinburgh what with the curvy line and being all 'inspiring'.

I wish these brand people would buy a thesaurus. Two word slogans are usually just lazy and generic, and ironically, far from inspiring. For me, at least.

Meanwhile over the bridge, our much better stadium has had a logo which has survived 10 years without feeling dated or stale.

That's because no-one has ever noticed it because of its lack of importance

Oh, I like that Edinburgh one. Better than the poncy "Glasgow: Scotland with style" thing that I keep seeing. Are they implying that only Glasgow has style? Pfft.

Though not a patch on Edinburgh City Cooncil's logo which I've always been inexplicably in love with.

Birmingham City Council's logo is horrid, it was made in 1982 and hasn't changed since (bar to add "City Council" to the end from just Birmingham on it's own).

Just look at it, it's rank. To be fair though, Coventry CC's is worse.

Our local council has a traditional and modern logo, much better compared to the one it replaced!
