Is this guy MMTV in disguise? What a twat.

The thread in particular - http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27228
That little cock face was supposed to be banned last week. He's the contemptible little moron who says he has themes then doesn't share them.

When did you get the message, Rob? Reply and tell him to cram it with walnuts.

I've done a quick look into this user and I've concluded that this 'user' was MMTV, and have site banned him. Expect the user to reincarnate in the next few days as he has a track record of doing so. :)

Good man, Charlie. I wanted a copy of the "fish fingers" 9 O'Clock News theme which he claims to have yet won't distribute.

He's a liar, of course, but it has made me resent him all the more.

You know what - I honestly don't get this stupid 'trading' system that's emerged, like news themes are some precious commodity. When I first started frequenting TVF many years ago, there was nothing like that. People just openly posted what they had - no problems at all. Then when concerns about library music emerged, people became a lot more cautious about sharing files. I understand why that happened, and why there's some importance attached to ensuring we don't breach the relevant laws. But now you've got these jumped-up kids with inferiority complexes who think there's something special about holding an MP3 file that 'no one' else has. If they think that's what life's about, they need to get away from their computers more.

Yes, well there were certain members who started all this, "I've got it clean but you can't have it" nonsense, and its followed on from there.

They should have been banned instantly.

I prefer the "It's in a zip file but there's a password" approach myself!

Good move. A despicable fucker if ever there was one. One of the most, if not the most, contemptible little pricks ever to surface on TVF.

I can think of nothing more boring than rota discussion, and have voted that it ought to be banned.

I agree with the general sentiment that certain TVF members need to stop being so bloody precious in regard to sharing music. It's not just the blatantly sanctimonious twats like the odious MMTV and his litany of reincarnations, there are some regulars who do it by stealth. I can't bear all of this self-righteous 'Oh yes, that theme was composed by such and such, in 1982, it's available on a CD that you probably won't even find in your nearest weekend carboot sale' bollocks. Then there are those who chime in, uninvited, with comments like 'Ahh but you've uploaded the crap version which is probably a recording off Youtube, I've got the full original version, but I'm not going to upload it really, I just wanted to let you to know that your version is indeed crap and I'm amazing' I could go on and on. Personally I'm willing to share absolutely everything on my hard drives, especially as it makes me feel better for knowing that I'm not a jumped up, gloating, patronising prick.
