Worth noting the sale includes the Dealz brand in Ireland.

Presume that's the end of Pepco clothing/home lines? In fact I wouldn't be surprised to see the clothing dropped altogether.

I think they'll keep the home products, but the clothing seemed to be a distraction from selling more of what customers liked about Poundland pre PepCo. In any case, I found the Pep&Co clothing wasn't anywhere as good as Primark, despite selling them at a similar price.

We have an idea of what Gordon Brothers plan to do with Poundland.
Reduce physical stores to 650.
Axe online sales.
Perks is also going.
Reducing chilled lines and essentials such as milk.
Scrap frozen food which also means the frozen and digital distribution centre in Darton will close.
National distribution centre in Bilston will close, leaving them with two distribution centres in Wigan and Harlow.
There's no mention of home and clothing being removed.

Went past a branch yesterday and the only outward sign of the change was teeny tiny legal lettering at the bottom of the opening times sign in the window - though perhaps they'd been deliberately going for unbranded PoS in the windows in advance of completion.

Bizarre that the only reference to WHSmith on that front page is a tiny little icon at the bottom of the page indicating that they accept the WHSmith gift card as a form of payment!
I know there’s been a lot of publicity about the sale, but given the generic soundalike name they’ve gone for you’d have at least thought that they’d have a banner at the top of the page or something along the lines of ‘yes we used to be WHSmith, you’ve not been redirected to some scam website’.
