with the chance of winning £200 I jumped at the chance to enter the hollyoaks quiz they're plugging on the soap pages. however its interesting i have to give them my house number, postcode and phone number after passing level one, and by doing so I therefore agree to be pestered by a dodgy company and there's no box to tick to avoid such things.

Lovely.

The thing about some of the trolls on the other place is that they're funny.

Most of the trolls on DS, however, are just phuquing dull.

Anyway hasn't this kind of thing been done on TVF anyway by some kid called southwales? OH - I've just remembered an incident for the other thread...

I just love the other members who comment, "Has this place gone mad?!" - as if its a new development somehow.

Always been astonished at the way that place is moderated. You can speculate wildly about people's sexuality, whether they are drug takers etc. but if you question the site in any way you're banned.

That, and they let Luxton roam free like the mad goat he is.

Mad, I tells ya.

Do you not think they let Loxpox roam free as a kind of laughing stock? Village idiot mentality?

Say what you like about Asa but TVF has been, compared to DS, well moderated really.

I think that type of ironic humour is beyond them

I quite agree, actually. Only sometimes does one feel compelled to protest, but on the whole Charlie, Bail and Asa do a sterling job.

In the face of the jaw-droppingly poor moderation at DS, even the most lousy of moderation seems like a shining beacon of fabness.

Speaking on Richard and Judy's New Position.
GH Online wrote:Richard and Judy's "new position"? Simple, if you can't afford pay TV you're stuffed.

When will someone put that to them?

Is there a tighter human being than simon luxton? I bet he watches TV through his neighbour's window to avoid paying the license fee and for the electricity.

I personally know Richard & Judy are happier knowing he's not going to be tuning in.

I don't understand his point. Is his grievance with the purveyors of pay TV, with Richard and Judy themselves or with viewers who can afford pay TV?

If he didn't still live in a caravan with his mum and dad and got a job then maybe he could afford Pay TV.
