I was on the bus a few months ago, when it was snowing heavily. It was a school run so the bus pulled into the school and a few kids pelted snowballs at the bus. At once this old couple went crazy, calling them ungrateful little shits and they continued muttering about how children don't deserve cheaper fares and that they are disgusting and rude, et cetera. What they failed to notice was the fact that they had their muddy feet on this new buses seats opposite them with all their shopping, which is hardly any better than the kids' behavior. And also they failed to notice that they get on for FREE, so perhaps they should show a bit of respect for a privilege that they get..
Another situation was when a woman shouted at a bus driver (pensioners reside on buses), for the previous bus having the wrong destination on it. Firstly, it's not THAT drivers fault, so I've not a clue why she was shouting at the man. Secondly, if she was aware that was the correct bus then why didn't she at least complain to the driver of that bus, and ask him to change it? Off to the old people's home, I think deary.
Argh. They all do my nut in.
Old people constantly try to get onto the school buses that go through the bus station, despite the 3 foot high letters on the front saying "SCHOOL SPECIAL". I want to shout at them every time I see them do it.

But we are!

Are you all talking about older people putting their feet up on buses? Older, maybe, but not elderly, surely?
Anyway, I must admit, feet on seats enrages me; but then I don't know why I let it wind me up. All Lothian buses are equipped with about 12 cameras (with two large LCD screens for passengers to see themselves on candid camera and one mini one above the driver so he can watch for trouble), and the driver NEVER so much as shouts up the bus at the offenders.
Fuck them. Let them pay for upholstery refits.

Upholstery refits? Most bus companies have never heard those two words together.
Round here, we never get anyone putting their feet up. Playing the alighting bell like it's an instrument, pressing said bell after two people have already pressed it for a particular stop, paying the fare in 5p coins - now those are regular occurences.

I don't understand how any of those things can annoy you. Have you ever considered weed? I haven't but many people here seem like they could use it.

I can take a lot of annoyance on board - those things are annoying all the same.

perhaps but it is hypocritical to be so sanctimonious about kids misbehaving when said adults have their muddle shoes on the opposite seat in disobedience of the bus rules.
Most people don't even realize their feet are muddy. This doesn't even make sense - Are pensioners especially poor when it comes to shoe management?
Either way, people who throw snowballs at vehicles are cretins who want cutting. People with muddy feet are just careless.

Most likely, she made a song that wasn't very good then your idiot mates started banging on about how much they hate her. So hate your friends who formulate opinions on people they've never met.
I think you'll find this topic is called "things that irritate and annoy you" not "Who do you hate", I never once used the word 'hate'. You're trying to put words in my mouth there, I am
annoyed by her terrible song and wish I had never clicked the link posted by Pete
(you saying he's an idiot for posting it here, saying how bad it is? [yes, I can put words in people's mouths too

Oh, and she didn't make the song, she just sung it, credit lies with Patrice Wilson of the Ark Music Factory.

In keeping with your pedantry - Pete said how bad the song is, according to you. You simply said Rebecca Black. You are irritated and annoyed by Rebecca Black because she made a song you didn't like and wouldn't even have taken off if people hadn't started inexplicably detesting her?

Don't write in small fonts, my new glasses are weak enough as they are. You know exactly what I meant, anyway. Try some weed.

This website does not condone the use of narcotics by young people.
They're utterly wasted on them.

I must confess that as a teenager I used to put my feet on the opposite seats. One day a middle-aged man boarded the bus and sat down next to the seat where my feet were sitting. A while later he grabbed me by the ankles and shoved my feet off onto the floor. These days I would have the confidence to give the moron a severe tongue-lashing, but at the time I was stunned in disbelief. The man was actually shaking slightly with rage. By the time my stop came, he'd calmed down, and timidly apologised for touching me before I got off. "I should think so, too", said I. He'd obviously had a bad morning and chose to take it out on my feet.
I stopped resting my feet on the seats a few years later. As you get older, you begin to question things you've been doing for a long time and realise how stupid some of the things were. That was one of them.
You couldn't do it now even if you wanted to, because the new bus seats all face the front:
(Except the folding ones, obviously.)
