Give me the part number and I'll squeeze his margins happily.Nick Harvey wrote:Would you care to act as middle-man for my next chair?Gavin Scott wrote:The list prices may be, but the difference is I can negotiate.

Quite possibly - there's nothing WRONG with them, I'm just not sure they're worth the money. I guess I'll pay the price with back problems later in life - which seems to be the reason most put for purchasing them...BBC LDN wrote:Gosh, it sounds like you've had a bad experience with yours.
I would, but I got it for free and I imagine they would want all sorts of proof-of-purchase that I'd be unable to provide. Might be worth a punt though.BBC LDN wrote:Herman Miller chairs are also covered for twelve years, so[...]I'd suggest you get in touch with them.
I could have sworn they were something to do with Staples actually - but that may be the consumer rather than the business side. I'm totally confused but in eihter case I am disappointed that Ian (Irwin?) Helford no longer appears on the catalogues.billy asko wrote:Viking Direct is still a subsidiary of Office Depot, and I'm quite sure neither Viking nor Office Depot has anything to do with Lyreco.

I've seen that very same thing before. A couple of friends ruined it during an impromptu explosion of Sexy Time, when she apparently lept on to him, the chair fell back, and as the top of the backrest hit the floor, the weight of his body and hers impacted via his lower back and snapped the lumbar support clean in half.
