Well seeing as we have a GSFRotW (ex) he can answer Sput's question directly.
To apply for Fit Reader Of The Week you have to submit 3 or 4 pictures of yourself as well as 3 'Fascinating Facts' - of course if you take the time to do this then you are consenting for your details to be used.

If you are selected you don't know about it until the pictures appear on the page and you get random Twitter messages informing you about it from your friends!

Well perhaps after the awards of biggest fawner, most tedious sleaze and most tiresome set of replies to what srated a milding interesting thread awards are dealt with we could see about your suggestion.
