So how much does someone need to do to warrant sackingg them in your view James?
I agree the answer to that question is subjective but in my view he totally crossed the line on the basis of that video alone, let alone the preamble (which I have no reason to disbelieve). I don't have much sympathy for this "what about his family" business, he should have thought of that before he opened his mouth. Plenty of people in need of a job in this day and age, and who'd do it a lot better than him.
Do you think it's fair that such people are being denied work because this moron is occupying a space? I mean that's the inverse of your argument isn't it, except the wronged people are the many nice people rather than this person who takes his anger out on someone he should be serving and who is paying his wages.
I have bad days too. But, hard though you might find this to believe, I can honestly say I have never felt the urge to verbally assault someone. In fact, the most anyone cam expect of me after a shit day is a bit of tetchiness. This guy is more than tetchy, he has a short fuse. People like that need to sort themselves out.
It's not often my views coincide with Chie's but he's absolutely right here if you ask me, no question of it.

I thought I'd quote this and say I thoroughly disagree with it (in a general sense), I am not interested in life being simple. More specifically, if that blogger's account of the pre-video events is accurate, I can entirely understand why he didn't do what he was told by that raving lunatic.if you're told to do something by someone providing a service to you, you bloody well do it. Never mind this "I know best" mentality - just do it. It makes peoples' lives a lot simpler.
