Do the chemists not sell bottles of paracetamol and asparin in bottles of 100 anymore then? I only ever pick up my presciptions from the chemist these days. I used to have cocodamol, paracetamol and asparin in 100's. Only cost a couple of quid. I always had loads let over by the Best before date.
I normally pick up neurofen from tesco when i need them.

Nope, they're only supposed to be sold in blister packs now-a-days, again to hinder overdoses. This paper appears to suggest it was successful, but I admit to having had only the briefest of glances at it this morning.

I think we need a METRO EXPERT logo for professionals like Tilly. Gav could have one too as he's our financial ombudsman, and lorns could get one as our token woman.

After all the nagging, i thought the pinky bits of the forum were a nod to me.

How do the pound shops (Poundland, PoundWorld, 99p Stores etc) get away with selling three packs of 12 paracetamol or ibruprofen tablets then?

Plus, a product like Lockets contain paracetamol but you can buy those in bulk!

Lockets don't contain paracetamol. I imagine the restrictions on number of packs sold are partly voluntary, hence some shops just choose not to comply to the same extent as others.
