0000 - Awful. But at least I don't have to hear her.
0200 - Why?! Why have such a talented presenter on so damn early, with the absolute drivvel at...
0500 - ... being such total nonsense? I can only hope that the woman goes into permanent rehab early next year.
0700 - Interesting. Has he been extended by half an hour?

Yes, on his own request I believe - it was Wogan who insisted on the 7.30 start if I believe the conjecture floating around webshites such as DS.

And so the reshuffled cards start tomorrow ... Wont be joining Evans. Looking forward greatly to Mayo in the evenings though. Really sad that amongst the fallout Johnnie Walker wont be doing any more daytime covering on the Network anymore.

So will Big Moira be reading the news then? I'm tempted to tune in out of curiosity, I've gone off Moyles of late not least due to his obsession with this Angelo person and lack of Rachel.

Yes. And as it hasn't been mentioned here, Simon Mayo is taking over drivetime. Will anyone be listening?

The Radio 2 website has a video of the last pilot of Chris Evans breakfast show done on Friday morning: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/chris ... eos/pilot/
I'm a Moyles fan but will have a listen to Evans for a bit tomorrow... and catch up on both via iPlayer.

A big day for BBC Radio tomorrow - new shows from Mayo & Evans on 2 and Richard Bacon, Gaby Logan and Tony Livesey on 5 Live. Here in BBC London land there's a new breakfast show (Paul Ross and Gaby Roslin) and they're getting a new jingle package too apparently. Also the Chris Moyles show is refreshing its production with new jingles etc

Oh wow, Moira looks and sounds amazing - will be great to have her back! Will have a little listen in as I head to work tomorrow but no doubt will want to have a proper catchup on the iPlayer. Should be an interesting first show either way - play it safe so that it doesn't seem too radical or come in with a big bang so that it makes a mark (good or bad depending on your opinion, of course)?
Good Lord!

Shall I start?

I was always torn between Moyes and Wogan - I didn't really like either of them, and I didn't like what any of the other stations (BBC or commercial) had to offer. I just watched Breakfast. Evans has always been good at drivetime, so I expected a more fresh start to the morning with him. And, oh boy, was he ever! If you didn't hear it, listen to it on iPlayer. I will be tuning in again. Also looking forward to Mayo, worrying he might be a bit dull. Roll on 5pm.

Funnily enough, a lot of the negative comments floating around have been from people who haven't listened to any one of Evans' mornings yet, but simply have made their mind up about him before giving him a chance.

I've got to say, I expected - nay, wanted - better from you, Mr Cornwall.
