What makes that website brilliant is the fact that he has stressed the fact that he really does have a mental condition, but then still insists they are out to get HIM and only HIM

Not many people know this, but there is a subtle difference between paranoia and delusion, with the latter being stronger.

Paranoi - I think that person keeps looking at me.
Delusion - That person does keep looking at me.

Paranoia is where you question something. Delusion is where you genuinely believe something to be the case.

Paranoia is experienced by many, in its milder form.

In the case of my friend I suppose I was referring to paranoid schizophrenia.

It's five as in MI5. The site is also on http://www.mi5.com which is a very nice URL

The chap concerned is called Mike Corley, he's been posting on Usenet since 1990, more about him here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A694523
and there's an opera written about him: http://www.thecorleyconspiracy.com/
