They are insane, I believe that about a month ago they temporarily rebranded as 'Dogparty', which involved male members being referred to as dogs and females as 'bitches', ages converted into dog years and profile photos being changed into various breeds of dogs. That's a really good way to keep your members, isn't it.

Faceparty have a history of underage porn being posted, so referring to themselves as a 'pedo's playground', as nidave just said, isn't helping their image at all.

The new owners are just casually running it into the ground as best as possible. Wouldn't expect anything less to be fair given the history of Faceparty and how it cannot possibly hope to be any bit successful under usual terms. Might as well make a big deal about it, alienate the remaining memberbase to some degree and get attention for being twats which they know will get them a better place in history than merely being some pre-MySpace social networking site which went tits up in a fairly small way when instead they'll be one which went up in flames of glory.
