The basic Brythonic heritage of the Cornish and Welsh is the same. We even share some words in the language, and most are fairly similar.

For example: the Welsh word for "language" itself, is "iaith" (pronounced yaith) - in Kernewek it's "yeth". Similarly, "Merry/Happy Christmas" in Cymraeg is "Nadolig Llawen" - in Kernewek, "Nadelek Lowen."

I think I'm in the wrong job. I should be an ethno-linguism-vexillologist. I'm fascinated by word origins and political sociology.
