That'll please Gav and Hyma that I said nice things about the place up north!

:D

I don't think i could go up in the London Eye, I am scared of heights and would end up clinging to someone with my eyes shut.
(Offers from fellow clingy peeps welcome)
I'm shit with heights too, so you wouldn't get me up there for a cuddle or anything else. I'd wait for you in a nearby bar.

Loch Lomond is beautiful. If you were in the village of Luss, that's where they filmed Take the High Road.

We were indeed in Luss (and was aware it was the setting for TTHR), staying at the "Lodge on Loch Lomond" hotel which oddly enough I had stayed at when seconded to Clyde Naval Base for a week in 2003. My Sister selected the hotel without this knowledge, and even more weirdly I ended up in the same room as the time before.

I'd be in the pub with you, and wait for the pics from someone we had persuaded to actually go in one of those pods! It's a date

I hate heights - hate walking up a flight of stairs where you can see the space between the steps.

Mr Hellfire gets dizzzy standing on the edge of the kerb. I'm ok with heights so long as i don't look down and TVMercia isn't standing behind me.

This is a question to everyone afraid of heights:
Would you do something extreme to do with heights - for example would love to do a parachute jump. But would not want to go on the London eye!

I'm not that keen on heights either but I've been on the London Eye 3 times now and it's not in the least bit scary.

Same can't be said for the cable cars in Barcelona.

Just got home yesterday and now I've got some sort of horrible coughing sinusy flu thing. Feeling like crap. :(
