The sound of an attempt to shove an entire fist into a small bag of crisps, followed by the open mouthed mastication (ooer, missus, it's not what you think) followed by the inevitable after chewing of small bits still floating about their mouth (still open).

Aside from screaming babies/toddlers (stirring the maternal instinct? Pah. I just want to chuck the little shits under the nearest bus), the noise guaranteed to drive me into a homicidal rage is somebody chewing gum with their gob open.
