It seems we are in for another night of storms tonight. We have escaped most of the worst here in Plymouth, although the indiginous population aren't used to bad weather (show them some snow and they curl up in a ball - hope we don't get that).

My Brother-in-law mentioned bad winds in North Cheshire yesterday, he said they had lost the roof off 3 of the stables when I rang tonight. My sister (birthday today, I'd forgotten :roll: ) snatched the phone and explained that whilst the roofs had come off, the rest of the stables were also down at the bottom of the field with them - therefore not simply the loss of the roof! (she can be so pedantic!)

Oh dear, sounds bad wherever anyone is. A night tucked up with some alcohol sounds a good idea to me wherever anyone is!
