Strange, that, when you seem to find other people's private lives - such as Simon Luxton's - endlessly fascinating.

I have absolutely no issues with Luxton at all.

It's just purile banter that everyone finds themselves on the end of occasionally on the interweb.

I know nothing about Luxton apart from his facination with clocks, old idents and grange hill. Oh, and he lives with his parents at 32 and relies on them to provide his sky telly.
i thought you knew he was a *****

Even I am utterly offended by that statement, so lord knows what Simon must think.

Jamez, for a person who is working in the communications industry, you are going to have to realise that the semantics of your comments is irrelevant.

I won't allow these very serious accusations to be thrown around regarding a member who doesn't have the luxury of anonimity by masquerading under made-up user names.

You are on notice, sir, that you will be banned without further discussion if you repeat these comments on this board again.

I don't agree with much that Simon Luxton says re. television or politics or anything else, but I do feel that some of the attacks on him in the 'Cancelling Sky' thread (once again) crossed the line of good taste or humour into really quite unpleasant personal abuse.

Granted, Simon does himself few favours with many of his contributions to TVF, but all the same I am quite uncomfortable with some of the abuse that is meted out to him.
Agreed, which is why I tried to be unusually helpful.

Bloody hell! Hyma came along half an hour ago and completely misquoted me from the other day, so I put the record straight.

I'm sick to the back teeth of Luxton and Luxton-related chit-chat.

So much so I've really had enough. Feel free to ban me, Gavin. No, in fact delete my account and all the posts I've ever made.

Ta ta - it was fun... until about 6 months ago.

xx
Bloody hell James, you must hold the record for the highest number of "bye bye, I'm going" messages over the years!
