not worth starting a new thread for, but kinda on topic...
if you want to do something fun, tasty and pocket size with all that left-over turkey can i suggest you carefully place the meat in on your bread, along with stuffing and gravy and whip it in the sandwich toaster.
absolutely lovely.

Well that sounds absolutely revolting and incredibly messy. So i thought i'd make one for the bloke to sample.
I had to try a little bit and it was really yummy!!
add a little cheese for extra scrumminess.

Late? There's still more than a week of Christmas left. It only started yesterday...
People these days seem to think that Christmas starts some time in September and by Boxing Day they're ready to take down the tree. :roll:

Try working in retail - every last vestige of Christmas was removed in the store where I work by close of play on the 24th (and the sale goods were starting to be put out). Expect Easter eggs on sale within the next couple of days - if not already.

My aunt had a text from a friend saying that one shop was already pushing Valentine's cards on Christmas Eve.
And I was annoyed last week to see the local family-run baker's down the road had a sign in the window promoting hot cross buns.

Had to put those out in the week after Christmas last year; the "January Deals" stock came into the PFS for 3 days before being shifted off to make room for the rush on Easter Eggs that everyone expects on 29th December...
I think it was put down to Easter's early appearance in the 2005, and supermarkets tend to give all "events" a certain number of weeks' shelf space.
Christmas stuff: 1st September
Easter eggs: 1st January
Valentines stuff: 1st February
BBQ's and Summer stuff: 1st April
