A new franchise is not always better neccesarilly

In East London & Essex We had "First Great Eastern" (who were intergrated with "Anglia Railways", "West Anglia" of "WAGN" & "Stansted Express") , they weren't that great (excuse the pun) but alot better than "One" railway (Owned by National Express) which has replaced them.

Services are now constantly late, info screens broken either in morning rush hour or evening rush hour (sometimes both), some stations now closing ticket offices before 5pm, & a "Gay Express" livery, which wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't have resprayed the inside yellow panels in a horrible neon pink.

So just a warning to those wanting to lose Virgin Railways, you may end up with someone a whole lot worse
