From what I've seen around here, Martin's silence has been deafening.

Methinks as long as he's in charge of the 'pol, we aren't gonna be seeing any protest forums here!

thank you gavin. is it used tenners or used fivers this time?

Where's martin btw gav. We need the temp forum reopened for said protest. He usually is slacker than a Prouty g/f

I think Martin is taking the dignified "no comment" approach; and I would probably do the same in his position.

Whilst this forum is independant of the other place, it does benefit from front-page promotion as well as a fairly decent third place in the drop down menus - above two of their own fora.

This is done entirely at Asa's discretion, and Martin, jb and myself are very happy with the placement.

That doesn't mean that as a user of both venues I won't make my pleasure and displeasure on the state of user activity and moderation known. That is, after all, the nature of discussion groups.

This thread is a good gallery for the choicest cuts of shit written over there. Feel free to post examples and explain what you would do differently if you were in charge.

Perhaps the best ideas may be implemented.

Think of it as a war committee.

Surely we can appeal to OfSput, under the "must carry" regulations, to retain our third place in the EPG, regardless of how utterly crap our programmes are, sorry, regardless of how rude we want to be about those in positions one and two.

I think maybe we could circumvent ofsput by doing a freesat - namely setting up our own little workaround of the dispite with 101 / 102.

If we just post here in 103 but postcode match our threads using
TVF:TVH: Thread title
TVF:TNR: Thread title
TVF:MW: Thread title

then we can both retain correct regionality and be immsenly rude to those on the higher EPG numbers whilst not annoying *the controllor* of this platform.

Och and I just had to reply with a classic Simpson's line.

He was asking for it. He sullied your ITV News thread, James.

Well if no temporary TV forum is to appear, why not just start TV threads in the main forum here ?

This is supposed to be a no holds barred, anything goes type of forum, except for TV presentation it would seem.

However, is it not plausible that somebody who is a member of this community might want to discuss television here, without doing so in the other place ?
