£80-£150 is in the higher price bracket. However, a friend of mine does charge up to £800 a session, so it does fluctuate considerably. You can get a great sounding voice-over recorded and emailed to you in just a couple of hours for around £50 (depending on script length of course).
I find the whole VO side of the business incredibly fickle, and it's increasingly being infultrated by young radio anoraks believing that they have an awesome voice. Truth is, half of them haven't even developed their language skills, let alone their ability to perform a script professionally.
For anyone wanting to go into voice-overs, I strongly suggest embarking on some training in broadcast technique and presentation. The training I received 4 years ago has proved invaluable and held me in good stead. I don't want to come across as condescending, as I'm still a mere beginner in the media industry, but the advice from others to me really has and continues to be incredibly helpful to me.

I did once get £11.66 per word for a 6 word tag line. They were happy with the first take too, which was nice. Not bad for 10 seconds work.

How many words can you do in a minute, then? 120?
11.66/6=£1.94 per word,
1.94 * 120 = £232.80;
232.80 * 60 = £13968;
13968 * 24 = £335232;
335232 * 365.25 =
£,122,443,488 per year.
I'd better get into the voiceover business myself!

No, no, no, no, no.
He CLEARLY started by stating that it was £11.66 PER WORD.
Somewhere in the region of £70 for the six word job, if I'm not mistaken. Okay, he might have had to give them 4p change from the folding stuff, but let's not quibble.
Want to have another go at the maths, Mr Denman?
I'm still smarting slightly, as I'm pretty sure £5 a word was about the best I've ever got.
Mind you, I wouldn't mind £5 a word for "Your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on a mortgage or other loan secured upon it", which I can manage in THREE seconds on a good day.

They could have had an hour's worth of stuff on that particular job, and I did drive 20 miles there and back to do it, so it's not just as wonderful as it sounds. Still, I wasn't complaining.

In which case the prospects look yet more promising:
11.66 * 120 = £1399.20;
1399.20 * 60 = £83952;
83952 * 24 = £2014848;
2014848 * 365.25 =
£735,923,232!!!!
I think NOW might be a good time to mention to MarkSi my very worthy fund...
And you can do that line in 3 secs, Nick? I always thought they sped up the tape on these kinds of things
