Also, do you need to have a TFT. You can shave off at least £40 from that lot if you go for a 17" CRT.
As for XP - you can always "acquire" a copy - saving at least £70.

The monitor I have at the moment is a silver 17" CRT which I bought in February when my previous monitor blew up due to a can of Strongbow falling off it (never store half empty drinks on top of your computer screen!!!).
But, I'm donating this computer to my sister so she can have the monitor, optical mouse & keyboard along with all the "aquired" software on here.
I've never installed an OS onto a blank HD - how hard can it be?
Anyway, I'm the only one of my housemates with a CRT, so I think it's time to keep up with them

Installing XP is fairly easy, long as you've got a bootable version pop it in and it'll say oo look windows, shall i install it for you, and it does the rest.

All XP CDs are bootable, OEM or Retail.
I've yet to see any XP CD that isn't bootable, in all honesty.
