The problem is that the first post was very badly explained, and after reading the link ^^^ op 'ere, I see what he was meaning. (I don't think it was a good idea in the first place..anyhow..)
This community now has a good few kids and a few more sad queens on it's pages. I'm pretty disappointed to be honest, I registered thinking it had much more of a community feeling, but I'm led to believe that "before" there was a great sense of the community in here, but I think it's been lost..?
Am I right?

Sort of, I think that's why the "Random Thread" lasted so long

a) It's a bloody forum, not a "community". I am not a girl guide, do not go to regular council meetings at the local library, nor do I attend coffee mornings with the local Neighbourhood Watch scheme. If I did, they would be in REAL LIFE and nowhere near Metropol Hotels 247.
b) It's not a case of us people being not very nice... the fact is, for some reason, TV Forum attracted a lot of cynics in its infancy who, in time, became the regulars who moved over to Metropol. We all get on with each other in our own odd way - that is, we love each other and hate certain people at the same time. Cretins and simpletons who post threads like "join in this online friendship bracelet" or "add your username to my virtual greeting card" are likely to be bullied.
Dog eat dog at this place, I've turned into a real hard nut.

You misread community.. "we love each other and hate certain people at the same time" - that's community...

You seem a tolerable sort of chap.
A tad preoccupied with the intimate details of London Underground travel information, but tolerable all the same.

My comment was directed at babyben - I'm intrigued how he's found out I have absolutely no friends.
I have no friends as a direct result of this forum, by the way.
