They're called deli sandwiches Brad - £2.99 and not that filling!

And not actually from McDonalds. There are some things that do appear in stores which aren't nationwide and restricted to certain stores from outside suppliers. One thing I've noticed before is that certain stores do Ronald McDonald Gingerbread biscuits, which aren't mentioned by McDonalds at all. Another one is the Sundae's they still do in places - company stores don't do them, franchised one's tend to keep them.
Usually things like this are regional promotions and I know there is one store which has quite a few little bits and bobs with all these fancy gadgest and wi-fi what not but I cannot remember where the heck it was.
The Quorn Veggie thing is being changed shortly, instead of the little slab it's being changed to a bigger chunky piece to resemble... a burger. All the salads dressings are now going to be less than 3.3%fat.
From what's been said there is going to be quite some shananagins in April with McDonalds worldwide as they're launching a new quality & service programme. It was supposed to launch this Month but apparantly the American lot are a little slow so it's been put back. It's a bit like "Mystery Shopper" although it's called GapBuster just now. It's all changing and should show a more accurate account of how a store performs. No doubt they'll have a bazillion ads boasting about quality and service.
Oh and the Cadbury Dream McFlurry is just a summer promotion and will probably return this Summer. It doesn't just run in June, most stores should be running from June til around August... of course what they don't sell usually ends up in the bin or going home to the homes of people who work there. I left with 6 backs of white chocolate just after it finished last time. Really has the benefits this job.

A couple I know are both vegetarian and have three young children, also veggie (although they eat fish). The kids used to love the 'fish fingers' happy meal, until it was withdrawn in many local restaurants, leaving no 'non-meat' options for happy meals.
Sometimes the store managers will allow the kids to have a 'fish square' (from the filet-of-fish sandwiches) but not always. Surely Macca's should offer a non-meat option as standard?

When I went to France a few weeks ago, I thought I would sample the local cuisine by popping into McDonalds of course

I was amused to find that on the menu as a regular item was Potato Wedges, what was amusing I hear you ask, well they call them Deluxe Potatoes there!
But on an alarming scale for me, those who remember the size of the sundaes that use to be about is actually the standard size of a milkshake. I couldn't believe it so I had to order two!
