And I strongly refute Barenit's comment about Vauxhall Tube Station. From experience, I can say it's just as clean as any other (admittedly that's not saying much ;) ) -- also, they've just installed sleek new gates that don't *SLAM* when you put the ticket in.
What you mean that ramp thing near the MI6 building - visable as you come in from Clapham Junction way on the train?

I too been wondering what the use of it is ... where is it actually situated? Is it right outside the station?

Perhaps it's a rather large rocket launcher for Al Qaeda.

I don't quite understand the bit about putting a dog in a sack in the river. It sounds like a very good idea, but what's it got to do with eels?
Well because you need a cheap way of getting a great number of eels trapped in one place, so you don't have to catch them.

The eels can lay their eggs in the dog carcass [are you with me], but the hatched eels cannot escape the sack.

You have to take your teeth out to eat them though apparently -- it's just etiquette. I know you wouldn't want to be caught out.

As for Vauxhall, I was thinking of the residential bit admittedly. But I believe Sarah Kennedy lives there, so I concede it is quite awful.

I found the filthiest tube station to be Seven Sisters personally. And I genuinely feared for my life there.

*Semi-Interesting Fact*
The reason there's no NE postcode in London is because it was needed for Newcastle. The same for S - that went to Sheffield

It's right outside the entrance to the Railway station.

It's the roof to a Bus station, part of the redevelopment of the Vauxhall Cross roundabout. the area will look a bit like this:

"Most" is subjective. The poll got 7 votes.

4 were for that area.

One was from you.
