Agreed, probably Tesco's best one for a while now.

There's one on the Radio at the moment for 3 with Mitchell and Webb singing Christmas carol's very badly, it cracked me up a couple of times whilst driving.

The ghastly new T-Mobile advert for there 'Combi' package is terrible, like something from 2000.

I quite like that one too, it manages to make me snigger chortle, no matter how many times I see it.

Des has always been willing to mock himself: singing a cheesy christmas song while wearing a 'Val Doonican-esque' wolly jumper is quite a clever idea. I'm not sure I ever take notice of what's on the red disks though, I'm normally concentrating on the expression on Des's face!

I wonder if that ad is one of the "other projects" Des left Countdown for. Hmm...

On a brighter note - that Hellman's advert popped up yesterday.

I heard a radio advert for Hellmann's the other day, with the slogan 'Hellmann's - Christmas isn't Christmas without it' now surely that breaches false advertising rules? I've never bought Hellmann's anything and can safely say that Christmas has always been Christmas without it.

For your benefit, chie, I thought I'd also explain that Hellmans isn't really the only mayonnaise - that's a turn of phrase.

Isn't it wonderful Stuart how you've so blatantly ignored that last thread about you in an attempt to rid it from everyone's mind, only to ruin this thread too?

Yeh, nicely missing the point there stu. Chie clearly didn't understand the slogan "christmas isn't christmas without hellmans" so I thought I'd save OFCOM the trouble of hearing his complaints. I wish you'd saved us the trouble of your post.
