Tesco are closing eight in-store pharmacies in August. The stores affected haven't been announced yet.
This is after Lloyds Pharmacy announced they were closing all their pharmacy concessions in Sainsbury's.

I wonder what the logic here is. You'd think, especially if franchised out, they'd not cost Tesco anything and would take up the increasingly large amount of dead space in their stores left after they closed all the counters.

Just me or does this feel like a bit of a stretch? I'd have maybe understood a bit more if it had red in it. And it's not like the blue is specifically in a square. Can't say I thought of the Lidl logo once when I've previously seen it in store.

A massive stretch. Tesco's brand is blue and they've always used yellow for offers. Indeed their entire offer ends used to be painted yellow.

I hadn't even considered any possible resemblance until I'd seen the story.

I have a strong feeling that Tesco will win their appeal. At the very least, they'll be able to capitalise on the publicity

How that ruling went Lidl's way I shall never know. It was a spurious claim in the first place, yet apparently had enough merit to win? I can see Tesco winning on appeal. Still, a bit of free advertising for both companies.

Can’t imagine the court case or appeal being free.

'The Fresh Market' just sounds a bit Morrisons really, doesn't it?

If you didn't know "The Fresh Market" is a Tesco concept, you'd think is Morrisons.

Reminds me of a naff version of the new M&S store design than Morrison's personally.
The only thing that reminds me of Morrison's is turning half the lights off and making the place look unwelcoming, rather ironic that the new signage uses lights.
