It's in good nick, but I'm going to aim for £200 on ebay since it's boxed, unlocked and has an 8GB card :)

Message me the listing if you put it on ebay, I'll bid.

Haha alright, it won't be until after 1st April when the new one is due. Also I expect the Hero might get cheaper after the new ones are released. Hope not though!

Am going to get the HTC Desire when it comes out on O2 next month. We get a work cashback deal on any new O2 contracts, plus I also get a discount on my broadband if I stay with O2, on top of the £50 they gave me for staying with their broadband for another year.

Just laid hands on my HTC desire. Massively better than the hero and incredibly fast. Form factor is lovely too.

Still hasn't appeared on the O2 website... what's it like then?

Incredibly vivid and fluid. The hero is just a little slow to respond and jerky in web pages but this thing feels like it could still run doom at the same time.

android 2.1's browser is also a big improvement as it is clearly copying iPhone safari more.

In short, this thing at least initially feels and looks good enough to make me think twice if offered an iphone in exchange. I do hear it has meh battery life though.

Marksi, try and play with one :)

Mine arrived yesterday and my only frustration so far is waiting for my number to transfer so I can dump my old phone! Absolutely brilliant phone. The battery life may be a bit rubbish, but all smart phones suffer with that!

Yay at you. Are you enjoying the preposterous wallpaper that ripples when you tap?

Also, I note that some decent 3d games are appearing and this phone handled them well.

Weird finding: it suggests 3some rather than 3d when writing this post

Will do better than that, will order one as soon as O2 get off their lazy arses.
