I am enjoying the mental image of someone with elbows massive enough to always land on the shift button but forearms short enough that they can still type

I was going to suggest that he was deformed, but then thought that might be like calling him a twat and I didn't want to get banned.

Four arms? No thanks... two will do.

Dragging this back to vaguely what we were talking about...
I note with interest that Orange now offer free internet for just a £10 a month top up. That and 300 texts as well.
Now, I'm hoping that my timing will be superb in that when my iPhone contract runs out, a new flavour will be due out and I can just jump straight on it and sign up to a new contract. I would be tempted to switch to Orange, because while I don't have any major problems with o2 overall, their 3G service is extremely poor both where I live and work and Orange has proved itself to be much better. As I do take advantage of the web connectivity, this is a big thing for me.
Erm, but anyway, what was I saying? Oh yes...that PAYG offer from Orange as I mentioned is rather interesting as it represents fairly good value for what it is. It would be tempting to move to such a pay as you go service with Orange should Steve Jobs NOT come through for me with a new phone in June.
Amazing isn't it. I don't even know what will feature in an assumed iPhone upgrade but already I am commiting myself to upgrade to it as soon as it comes out. And to think, right back at the start of this thread I was telling myself I didn't want or need an iPhone.

.
Thanks for pointing this out Ison, thointingthisoutison. I had noticed that O2 had started doing unlimited texts and internet for a £15 top-up but this is more suited to me. Now not only can I threaten to leave my O2 contract for PAYG, but SOMEONE ELSE'S PAYG. Perhaps I should buy your iSonPhone when you're done with it
EDIT: HANG ON, that's 50MB a month you get. POOR. Also, they are morons for putting the words "Pier to Pier".

I love that.
Pity Comment's already written, or there'd be a lengthy piece on communication between Brighton and Blackpool!
January perhaps?

The grand Morgan to Cromer trip will have to wait until then then!

It's looking fairly hopeful if you're that way inclined!

o2 have today improved their offering slightly: Unlimited texts on all iPhone tariffs
oooh AND they're offering £15, 12-month iPhone SIM only deals that have 300 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited web and wifi.

I've just been all whimsical and taken the plunge on the following (yes yes I know I bought an HTC hero outright a couple of months back):
£164 upfront fee + £10 a month for 24 months.
Bear with me. It sounds shitty but for this I get:
- HTC Desire (Nexus one basically)
- 100 minutes
- Unlimited texts
- 1GB internet
https://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/mobile- ... ice-plans/
If anyone is interested!
Now, my original plan was to buy an HTC hero, which I did for £200, and then switch to O2 PAYG, which gives 300 texts and internet for £10 a month, so provided I can sell it again for £164 or more, I'm quids in and with only a contract to show for it. I'm rather pleased in theory.

What kind of condition is it in? I've been looking for a HTC Hero in good condition for about £150 for god knows how long.
