Pffffffft.

I don't think I can take much more of this without spontaneously combusting, it just isn't funny anymore. In fact, it's excruciating. :(

I take it that's his code for GMTV?
No it's not. My code for ITV1 is I1, regardless of the franchise holder brodcasting at the said time of day (GMTV 6am to 9:25am; then ITV Plc / SMG / UTV /Channel the rest of the day). There isn't a separate code for GMTV.

That's always been the case, even back in the 1986 when I first coined the code I1. Take for example in the south region, I1 referred to ITV (what's now ITV1), regardless of time of day - TV-am breakfast time, TVS the rest of the day. Similarly London: TV-am breakfast time, then Thames or LWT, but the code remained I1 regardless.
Why call it I1 when in 1986 there was only one ITV channel - surely simply a code of 'I' would have been sufficient? Either you had great foresight about how many channels ITV would end up with, or you're talking crap.

I would have coded it as EyeTuvWun. Surely that makes more sense?

As much sense as anything else he says does... which isn't very much if you must be so damn literal.

Presumably so it fitted in with the standard two digit format having said there was only 4 channels in total in those days.

Wells my son, you're trying to explain TT with logic. You've already lost, like making cdd a beacon of all that is right.

ENOUGH

I'll admit to the forum that I replied to the email where TT asked if he would return. I thought it would be a laugh, this was a terrible mistake on my part and I'm sorry to all my loyal "registered users" for this error.

As most of you will know, Gavin is a kind hearted soul who believes everyone deserves a chance and I, in my position as Chief Button Presser, stick to his moral compass rather than my own less northerly aligned one.

Therefore under GavRule, and rightly so, we do not ban people for no reason. Despite the jokes, despite what some people on TVF think and what some on here think, we don't just have our selfish way and ban anyone who disagrees. We're actually both very fair.

However...here is an extract from my bank account;

Sheet No: 69
Date: 26Feb08
Payment type: DEB
Details: DREAMHOST.COM
US 117.40 (XR 1.90988)
Paid out (£): 61.47

so until Feb, when we'll split the next bill, I technically own Metropol, and as far as I'm concerned, this buys me a wee bit of political influence, in the form of a single black ball.

Tumble Tower; every single post you have made since your return here has been an inadvertent act of self-humiliation and I can't stomach your incessant bullshit any more. Aside from the fact you're damn annoying you also seem to lack any sense of self awareness and the ability to realise that everyone on here thinks you're an imbecile.

So, in light of the wishes of myself, the membership, and frankly for your own good...

Goodbye, xx

I've changed my mind. Please bring him back. The nasty people haven't got anyone to pick on any more (or anyone who actually deserves it anyway).

Yes, people just "pick on" others for something to do, not for any real reason.

Which nasty people would those be? I see you took the piss out of tumbler while he was here.
