General Android-ness
I did mine online this afternoon and I got the switch your phone off and on text back half an hour ago and like Pete I've had the Orange / T-Mobile name instead of Orange on my iPhone 3GS, and so far I've noticed a difference as usually at home I get a very weak signal, where as now I'm getting 3/4 bars so it's a vast improvement for me.

With me it said 'Text Yes' to 2121 and then I got a text back saying it was sorted... no rebooting

Original Orange users seem to get "Reply to this text with YES" and then a request to switch off then on; while original T-Mobile users get "Text YES to 2121" but then don't need to switch off.

ARGH.
Have fooked my SD card. I think it might have been caused by connected as a drive to an XP machine (windows 7 prompts to "format" - which I can dismiss by clicking cancel).
Its still working, but I get a message saying its in read-only mode and causes problems with Spotify.
Little help?

Formatting would wipe it yes? (Duh!)Sput wrote:If it won't come unstuck via a simple phone reboot then your phone can format it again: Settings > SD & Phone storage > Unmount SD card then Format SD Card. Obviously a backup would be required.
So if I copy it to a folder on the PC, do this, I can restore?

I've never used Android before, but one of the big complaints I hear is that the UI is a huge mess. I know iOS is so sterile and controlled by megalomaniac Steve Jobs, and Windows Phone 7 has its gorgeous and flexible Metro UI, but do all you Droiders have issues with the UI, and the variations brought in by the manufacturers?
