Wells is a friend? Did anyone else not know that? This reinforces my point nicely: it's not very good for the conversation posting stuff that looks more serious than it is. I like to think that I make it clearer than that when I'm messing with someone. To that end I think I am closer to poster boy status than you. Somehow the tone of your posts tends to miss the overall tone of metropol. It's possible you're not as much of a tosser as we think you are but your posting style hides any hints of it.

Nope, I'm still hung up about the "Poster Boy" lark on the last page. Sput may have worked it out but I remain clueless even after the stealthy editing.

Which makes your signature the depth of irony, doesn't it? I wonder if your membership is in fact part of a large scale experiment into Poe's Law.

Stop it :?
You'll be inviting me round for tea with scones, jam and clotted devon cream next.

I don't think I like 'Nice Sput' :o Where is the witty combat, the psychological wrestling, the intellect, the insults and the intrigue?

Is this change as a result of this thread? Have you and Nini been muzzled for the sake of new flesh? :?
(I hope not)

Could you not mention me when I'm not involved? I haven't been party to this most recent outburst of StuPly brand raving arsewittery yet and I'm not going to start now, no further than this anyway.

Hmmm true - I guess it's harder for you to be shitty with someone who's actually being reasonable with you.

And?
And it puts people off.

Metro reminds me of a Gentlemen's club, only there aren't any gentlemen. (Apart from James H.)

Sweeping statement based on your opinion which isn't backed up with any evidence.
Hyma admitted this himself in the opening post:
Hymagumba wrote:Metropol is a big clique. Now you'd think the fact StuartPlymouth, barcode and beep are still posting would be evidence but apparently not. So we need to try and dispell this too.

There's always one that wonders into the pub at 11.03 and asks "Are you still open?" isn't there?

Fixed for you, seeing as the context overshot the landing strip.

That noise was a *whoosh* in case you didn't hear it.
