That's one thing that really annoys me about Mozzers. If I pop in on my lunch-break, I can't buy just one banana. I have to buy a whole facking bunch.

In any other supermarket I'd do just that, but Morrisons' bunches of bananas are all pre-weighed and priced up before they're put on display, and they don't do individual ones.

I wonder if they noticed that the clock in the sidebar doesn't actually update itself...

I can't decide which is more depressing: that someone thought a clock on a website would EVER be useful when nearly everyone has one present in the corner of their screen, or that you noticed it doesn't update.

No, the most depressing thought is that Morrissons, being a big multi-national company, can't even get their own website to work.

Ever got a bit carried away when sampling the grapes? Like eaten a whole bag by the time you've finished shopping and have to go get another. Then when your halfway home with the shopping you suddenly get a real bad stomach ache and flatulance and an urge to get to a toilet ASAP.

Multi-national? Are you sure?
Anyway, most website clock efforts [very 6 years ago it is too] I've seen are static because no-one's quite anal enough to care whether it's *exactly* right, and page loads take place within one minute intervals. They're really not worth the bother. The only reason I'm talking about it is to highlight how tedious you are.

Erm, I'm not sure if it's just me, but that clock DOES update. Oddly enough, it doesn't appear to run quite in sync with my PC, updating itself a second before or after the actual time change. Something to do with the fact it's a Flash widget maybe?

Probably because it's got a javascript running to redirect the page to itself (ie refresh) every minute. (I've got Noscript, so it doesn't automatically allow Javascript)

*sigh* he can use Noscript but can't keep a virus off his computer...
