I certainly am. The Debate film should be shown before all election broadcasts

It's interesting - when doing vox pops for LBC in Holborn just how many people say they're using a protest vote, and just hope that the tories don't get in. Many people say Tony Blair needs a much reduced majority but don't want to see anyone other than him run the country.
I suppose the danger of that thinking is that if enough people place a tactical tick on the ballot paper, it will give the Conservatives an overall majority.

This will be my first vote - and it's going to Labour. There's just something of the night about Michael Howard...

If Blair gets in again, taxes go up again.
Simple as.

People say they won't vote Tory because of the "mess" Thatcher made.
So why do people vote Labour considering the absoloute shambles Callaghan got us into?
Thatcher did a good job. Doesn't look like it on the surface I know but she did what she had to do, and she got the job done.
She rescued us from the mess Callaghan got this country into, that's for sure.
I really do think that Britain needs another Thatcher to properly shake things up.

The same could be said about Blair and the Iraq War.
I'm too young to remember, but Thatcher's policies met with protest and dislike, as did the war on iraq...
Now if Thatcher ever lied or not, well I couldn't comment...

The tax take will go up whoever gets in.
Granted, it will go up more (about 25bn) if Labour get in, but it is still going to go up 13bn if the Tories get in.
The Tories won't admit to the fact that they will have no option but to raise taxes when they come in. When Oliver Letwin was asked about it directly at a press conference the other day, he kept avoiding the question.
If Blair, Howard, or Kennedy gets in, taxes will go up.
Simple as.

The fundmental difference is that Blair didn't have to go into Iraq.
If we had been in danger of attack then it might have been necessary.
But of course we weren't, were we?
I might just vote SNP.
