I was in a Walgreens in Boston (Massachusetts, not Lincolnshire) the other week and saw a couple of stands of Boots and No. 7 cosmetics - so it appears that the Walgreens Boots Alliance hasn't wasted any time in creating synergies and stuff.

Considering Walgreens are using the Boots brand as it is in America, they see the heritage in the brand/logo and kept it as it is.

M&S Simply Food seems to be no more, M&S Foodhall branding being brought out across the country.
M&S Foodhall in Woodley that opened under a year ago and already the signage has been changed throughout the store recently.

Well, I rather doubt they'll get away with that branding in Devizes.
The place is so tiny, if they introduced the word "hall" into the name, somebody would instantly have them under the Trades Description Act.

I'm sure it's only a small factor but Boots is often mentioned by the many "British YouTubers" and bloggers that have a huge American following.

I've seen plenty of new Lottery POS, even at small corner shops. At the retailers I've seen, for the regular plastic street sign (with 3 bubbles, one saying Play Here) it seems they've just replaced the bubbles rather than the whole sign.
The new Lotto tickets are much neater and less "blocky" text.
On the same subject, here's a horrifically shameless 'news' story promoting the Health Lottery.

I didn't doubt the National Lottery POS would be updated fairly easily, I imagine there is probably a decent retailer support framework that takes care of these things (and checks up on them), but I wonder if things like exterior signage, metal signs bolted onto buildings and illuminated signage that you see stuck up outside small corner shops will be included in the logo update.
Anyway, it looks like BBC One even has a new results slide:

From the sounds of it the play station things that you fill in the slips on are being replaced by new ones, which explains why mock-ups of the new display stands don't have a second surface at a lower height to fill slips in on (struggling with the correct terminology here!). I played Euromillions yesterday and noticed there's also a new ticket design that is smaller and featured the new logo, and the customer facing screen on the Lottery terminal featured the new logo in the loop of advert things it plays, so the terminals seem updated also. It's semi-surprising that the roll out has been so fast (they're expecting new play stations and branding to all be done in time for the changes to Lotto), but considering they often send new posters and the like I suppose they do have a history of rolling things out quickly.
