You're a big boy.
Or so it says in all the toilets in the city centre.

I just want it to be said that these rumours ARE accurate

Speaking of which, background doesn't render properly.

http://www.metrpol247.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=1. If I go to that address on a machine where I don't leave myself logged in, there is a stripped down version of the log in page with just username and password fields - no remember me option and no links on the right hand side.
I see. Well if you visit a forum directly you trigger the login page within the viewforum template, whereas any other type of action requiring a login form, even admin re-validation, calls up the UCP based login page and then redirects you. I'm unsure why this is.
I could either trigger the viewforum page to send you to the UCP, but if we ever introduce a proper homepage that would break that. I suppose I could just remove the IF S_AUTOLOGIN_ENABLED tags from the form on that page as I really cannot see any reason for them being there when its enabled for everyone anyhow. Yes I'll do that.
Should work now.

I have to say what been done looks stunning and very impressive. Much better than I ever imagined it to be, epecially the TSK login page, digging that.
The background image is a perfect characterture of the site and our interests, and i'm loving the dragging the pen and mobile around on the Lazy Orange test page, the world needs more stuff thats fun and pointless as the same time!
Note to self: I must get on of those avatar thingys.

It must all be bloody fab, as I'm having awful trouble stealing the woodgrain background for my links to fabby websites page.
Every time I try to store it, it becomes all dotty and grainy and doesn't look like wood any more.

Well then Nick, bit of scuffling finds the URLs for the woodgrain backgrounds replete with bobbins you might want to get rid of.

Nobody better not bollock me for this though they probably should as any idiot can scan code for the background and it's probably an issue for Nick to fix on his own as I've helped not one jot.

I hope I haven't caught the cheeky, I love the new Metropol and all, better then anything we have ever had. But my question is, why when you are writing a post and go to submit it does it say "you may wantg to amend your post as a new post has been made since you started writing it etc. etc." It can be very annoying.
Why not just let the post be submitted and let users edit accordingly if they need to??
I love Metropol still, though!!
Why have four people voted Nay to the poll BTW? Lmao, shoulda gone to Specsavers.

Oi! There is a sticky for this sort of palaver yknow. Nonetheless, short answer is that it's part of phpBB3 and dead handy if I may say so for when you have an active thread you're replying to and something you're about to mention gets mentioned and need to change tack accordingly. Easier than after-the-fact editing.
