He's clearly very clearly has Autism/Aspergers.
A quote from Wiki, which I feel is pretty relevant.
Unlike those with autism, people with AS are not usually withdrawn around others; they approach others, even if awkwardly, for example by engaging in a one-sided, long-winded speech about a favorite topic while being oblivious to the listener's feelings or reactions, such as signs of boredom or haste to leave.
I'm sure you find other bits that fit with what we have come to expect of Tumble Tower.

Its very unseemly to discuss speculative medical conditions of current members of this board.
No more, please.

True, but I suppose we should try and understand reasons why certain members post in certain ways, this was just me trying to get some understanding across.

I understand your reasons for sure, but I'm a little uncomfortable with it.

And I fully understand that Gavin, which is why I will not intentionally speculate any further into the matter.

Likewise, and apologies for bringing the subject up in the first place.
The stupid thing is, I actually do look forward to TT's posts. I'm going to be hammered for saying this, but there is occasionally a diverting fact amongst all the dribble

I'm sure he's said before that he has no such condition. Can't remember whether that was in a TVF post or a PM, though.

This is usually the time of the week he appears!
EDIT: From a PM he sent me last week he's off to Swansea.

What are you plans for the weekend?
Tomorrow, going out for the day, then spend the evening in front of the computer or watching TV. Sunday not a lot.
Next weekend I'm off to Swansea. I'll catch the train from Bath to Swansea Friday morning, stay Friday and Saturday night in Swansea and return to Bath next Sunday evening. I hope to do a variety of things in Swansea over three days, including the adult night at Playzone next Friday evening (5 September). What a pity Proms in the Park Swansea is the Saturday after (13 September), so I won't be able to go to that there unlike last year.

Jonathan, obviously if
YOU approach 'Tumble Tower' asking him what his plans are, then you know he's the sort of person who would reply, in detail, to your enquiry.
Where does the obesession for communication lie here, with him or you? I don't understand the point of mocking his response when you asked the question in the first place. It seems a rather sad way of passing your time.

Was I mocking his response?
