What is it with this influx of people I have no time for cluttering this place up with things I don't give a shit about? It's not good enough, is it...

Slow cookers.

ok.....slow cookers are a nusience when your trying to cook Sunday lunch. Your other half has decided to invite 500 people around, many you dont even know. The other half keeps berating you to keep checking on the chicken (not keen on turkey), but the cooker is rubbish, by the time its finished, it will be xmas.
So just f*ck'em, f*ck the cooker, f*ck your other half later and instead get yourself a Birds Eye Roast platter microwave meal and sit in the shed eating it.
Oh hang on, was the slow cooker thing meant to be a joke?

Oi Shaun & Phil. There is nothing wrong with Slow Cookers. They are an amazing invention. The only problem I have today is that I was too bone-idle yesterday to prepare everything so I am now without Sunday lunch. Oscar will need to be dragged up to the shops soon so I can buy something (and it won't be a microwave Platter).
Either a fresh chicken or nice joint of beef are called for, with perhaps suede, parsnips and roast potatoes.

I once put a joint in a slow cooker. Stunk the house out, but I was high as a kite for weeks.
But hey, let's not divert the course of the conversation in this thread, however *hilarious* it may be. Does anyone else despair at the mention of radio on what is essentially a TV discussion site? And does anyone else love the way BBC LDN shoots practically any imbecile down in flames and wishes he was present 24 hours a day to fend off said people?

Incidentally, which member was it that used to be called something else, is now called 'Edward', was vaguely associated with BBC LDN but in any case never posts anymore? He was quite good, too.

I remember a 'Joe Havard' who suddenly disappeared in late 2006/early 2007.
