Er...except (as they appear to have realised) it doesn't. NET MIGRATION does, which is a completely different beast. It's actually less people leaving the country to become...er...immigrants in other countries which has resulted in a spike in the figures.
Incidentally, there are 400,000 Irish, 300,000 Germans, 200,000 Americans and 126,000 French living in this country. Don't hear anyone complaining about them, do you?

I'm getting seriously worried that all the posts regarding the Daily Fail are coming from you.
Please don't respond that as a librarian it's your duty to proof read the paper before putting it on the shelves, as I don't think I'll believe you.
I think it's time you supported Wales and moved over to the Daily Diana.

Ah well, our library is so crap, the only paper we are able to offer the public is the Metro. And that's only if I get the bus to work and I find one discarded on a seat.
