hmm, i'm trying to set the little "edited x times" thing like the other site has, but it neither applies retrospectively nor seems to apply to me. maybe admins are exempt :S

oh i only get it if i fill in the box. how odd. oh well.

I'm slightly glad it doesn't, I hate being reminded I edited a post for typos and wording 6 or more times.

Dumb thing is I've never seen it on any of my posts. Keep it on for Stu though.

Can we just disable Plymouth's ability to edit or delete posts? I'm getting annoyed with the endless posteditweasling he does

And since we're 2/3 of the way there, you could disable his ability to post posts while you're at it

I've never quite understood Mr Plymouth. He can dish it out but can never take it without getting himself in such a tiz (where did that word come from) that when he posts he has to correct it 3 times.

It's not so much editing, it's the wholly revisionist style which occurs on almost every post he makes and edits a handful of times so the meaning changes before someone quotes him.

At least he's not blanking every post he made after storming out in a huff just yet.

For a time, I have decided that editing and deleting privileges will be suspended for all members.

Applying that change manually to all users will take some time, so if you still have the buttons above your posts then that's the explanation.
