Yes, when the need arises. This wasn't one of them.

I'm sorry, then I don't understand your original post about you and gav needing skincare at your respective ages.

My statement about skin care stands. I wasn't discussing hair care, or the quantity. You're off down a rat's alley again Sput, as usual.

Whilst accepting that Gav does indeed have a retro bouffant hairstyle, and therefore more hair than me, that doesn't provide an excuse for his 'Hollywood Actress' quantity of skin care products as explained in previous threads :D
Does anyone live up to your high standards?

Few. But it's fun watching them jump through the theoretical hoops trying.

The hair thing was a bit of a tangent but it's all about appearances so not a million miles away. The crux is this: I thought you were doing the self-deprecating joke thing badly when you talked about skincare, then you said you're not doing the self deprecating joke thing at all, so now I'm confused at why you posted it in the first place. Mostly I'm wondering why you've suddenly apparently taken a swipe at gav for no reason.

Yeh! Intimacy and substantial emotional relationships are overrated!

What? I’m sure Gav didn’t see it as me having a ‘swipe’ at him. Don’t try to create conflict where it doesn’t exist, Sput.

Perhaps so, but it isn’t my belief or experience. No wonder you spend so much time online, Sput.

Returning for a moment to the post(s) which started today's little flurry; I'm reminded of the vitriolic PMs I used to get from Katherine's Dad every time I attacked her on TVF.

As I used to say to him, if someone's old enough and ugly enough to go on an internet forum, then they're old enough and ugly enough to defend THEMSELVES. The rest of the family joining in will only reduce what little respect the original member might have had in the first place.

So fight your own battles, please, Andrew junior.

All I'm asking if you were being sarcastic or not about all that skincare stuff or whether you were doing a cutesy/self deprecating retort, because if you're doing the latter then it LOOKS like a swipe at gav. I'm not attacking you here, believe it or not, I'm just trying to figure out what you're saying! I can't make it clearer than that!

Unlike you, my first instinct insn't to make posts which aim to humiliate, and I certainly didn't with my comment about Gav. He's made his penchant for skin care products widely known over many threads on this board; I don't think he would be embarassed or offended by me mentioning that, or using it to illustrate a point.

The self-depracating retort, which was obviously lost on you, was to Jovis' comment. Jovis warned me in advance, and I slapped a suitable response on the board.
